I tool this photo off the porch the other night while I was out there watching the day end. Now I ask you, what more could you ask as far as a view goes? I sure am a lucky girl to be able to gaze at this any time I want.

Exercise that is? I haven’t done much lately. The knee is lots better since I have taken the fish oil and it may be time to start with some exercise equipment. Or gardening. Or walking. Or maybe a week on a cruise ship would do the trick. Yeah, that’s what I need, a week on a ship. ha ha ha What do you think?

Wow. The fourth of July! Time for fun, hotdogs, apple pie, fireworks, and wouldn’t it be nice to have a hammock chair? The sun is shining and the birds are chirping and life is good. I hope your day is as wonderful as mine cause we have lots of fun things planned! Grandchildren are in the plan too! And granddogs and a cookout, well it’s just a grand day all around!

Remember a couple of weeks ago I went to the doctor. She gave me fish oil to take daily. It is supposed to help my memory as well as make my joints not hurt so much. No, not THAT kind of joint, silly thing. Anyway it does seem to be helping me. It’s just that now cats are following me home. Good thing I like them, huh? ha ha ha

Mr. Whiskers has had many adventures on Muffin53 and this one is where he “found” his pet spider, Nancy. She was next to the bed where I sleep, and note that his pet beds is next to mine. He thought she was a toy at first but soon found her to be a best friend. She goes with him everywhere. Now they rarely play with toys, but rather go out into the world finding other animals and things to do.

Did you ever drive down a lovely country road, not knowing where you are going, but going nonetheless? We love to do that. Summer fun times are sweet, aren’t they? And then the weather turns chilly and before you know it the leaves start to change and my very favorite time of year emerges. Yes, autumn. Crisp air, beautiful colors, apples, pumpkins, dried cornstalks, and the next thing you know it’s time to send out the Halloween invitations. Time sure does fly…

We told the grandchildren about the next cruise. We are taking them on the Liberty in December. They were excited to hear about it too. This time there will be fourteen of us going. Four of them don’t have a passport yet. They had better get on that pretty soon! In the past they were able to cruise with birth certificates. We are having so much fun planning the activities!

Of course y’all know how patriotic Sarge is and of course his flag is waving today. He is such fun to be married to for all these long years. He has always been patriotic too. If we are here, our flag is flying. The neighbors all know this too. It’s fun to hear them go by and toot their horn as they pass the house. A friendly “hello” from a friendly neighbor. Podunk is a lovely place. I have so many photos I have them stored on memory cards. Without them I don’t know how I’d store everything!

I took this photo the other day on our ride through Podunk. It is near our daughter’s house. I love this for some reason. The land used to be an apple farm but for the last few years they have cut down the apple trees, one batch at a time until there are none left. I don’t understand this but I’m sure there must be some reason. I don’t think this building is wired for high speed internet and don’t think they have a use for HDMI but you never know.
